It's no secret that i am a big fan of superhero stories.Superheroes are the individuals who have dedicated their lives to fight evil in the society and protect others using their abilities albeit just fictional.These characters are the bringers of hope to an otherwise world suffocated by injustices and wrongs. A while back i was reflecting on the matter, thinking what if such individuals did exist and i realized that there is indeed a real life superhero.One that has been underrated yet is the greatest superhero to have walked the earth.
His powers are beyond those of any superhero character that can ever be created. He is the ultimate superhero, enjoy this piece; it's sort of a praise that just flowed from my soul  at the time so i wrote it down.

THE GREATEST HERO OF ALL TIME 

The name of Jesus is exalted 
in the heavens among angels
and on earth among men
He is the lamb that sits on the throne
The lion of the tribe of Judah
who will judge the earth with wrath
I tremble at the sound of His name
He is my hero.

He humbly descended from on high
to come and live with mankind
so he may show him the right way
For he truly loved him and couldn't bear losing him
He came to save the lost
That the sick may be healed,
And the blind may see.
To comfort the afflicted and oppressed

He exercised  true love in all his walk
A love that never fails and  bears all things
Yet rejected by mankind he was crucified
There is no one who compares to him
who is easy to forgive and forget the sins of man
In the midst of pain on the cross he cried;
'Lord forgive them they know not what they do'
He is a true hero

He bore all pain and suffering
on the cross,all for love's sake
That we may be reunited with the Father
He conquered death and the power of darkness
By rising from the dead, he emerged victorious
He reigns victoriously in heaven
interceding for those who heed his call

Jesus is full of compassion
He hearkens to the voice of those who call him
He forgives their sins and heals their diseases
He uplifts the humble and makes the proud humbled
He uses the weak to shame the strong
It s him that raises the poor from the dust
To dine with kings
For he is the true hero

He is the Lord who has power over nature,
For by the sea he calmed the storm
by his power he walked on water at Galilee
Jesus is the Lord who has power over demons
They all trembled before Him and recognized as God
He is the hero of all heroes

Jesus is the father of all wisdom,
and knowledge of our creator
For he said that he is the truth,the light and the way
No one gets to the father
but through Him, hero of the world
Knowing and accepting him
is the only way to the Father
He is the hero of the world.
